i was jus wonderin how yalls season season goin? here in west tn it sucks worse than normal. hardly anyone is getting any good numbers even where they normally kill alot. idk what the deal is, idk if the ducks aint moved down south good yet, or they just skipped over us this year.

Were killing a few here in west tn but nothing great it better turn on after the new year. Reelfoot sucks it just got alot of hype for some reason, we kill just as many ducks as the top blinds there and don't put up with the drama.

Hope you have a better season than we did up here. Overall it was a very slow season for many along the Mississippi.

I'm not doing too bad in South LA. Its mostly teal but at least we're killing. When it slows down just switch to catching reds in the pond

If you ask brooks, all the birds are parked in Oklahoma. I have no idea what a duck looks like. I dunno where he got his info from but all ive been shooting is coots! Damn those little plump bastards are tasty!

yep, sandy cove is pretteymuch duckless cept for about 75 canvasback and 2000 coots. nothing like normal. it's like the ducks never showed up.

best hunt was 2 ducks.

i see no reason to keep duckhunting. i just do it cause that's who i am.

I'm about to give-up on West Tn and go back to making that 2 hour drive to Arkansas again next year. All those damn ducks sitting on the refuge and can't do anything about it. They need to loto the sancturaies out for weekend hunts. Charge $10 a head for the permits.

I hate the 2 hour there and 2 hour back, and the $100 for oos tags , but looks like the only option.

We have been puttting up some pretty good numbers here in the past couple of weeks in South East Texas. thing is we have been waiting them out in the marsh til about 10:30 11am. But we are killing limits and good birds!
