Ya'll have any tips on getting them to decoy? This is my first year hunting specks and they wont work for shit. Tons of birds just can't get them to work. |

Spec Decoys and a Decent Spec call. I've always found that Specs are fairly easy to get into shooting range. Shot them over duck decoys just calling at them close enough to look. Singles and pairs fall for it all the time. |

Im hunting the rice fields in Geuydan La and Im wondering if im not putting out enough decoys. Only hunting over 2 dozen full body decoys. Cant say my calling is the best but its not terrible. Im also hunting the pond behind me with duck decoys in it. Going on the 3rd week of the season without bagging a speck. Plenty birds, majority of them are high flyers but some are in working distance but cant get them to come close enough for a shot. |

If your hunting rice you could just not be in the right spot. Ive hunted rice before and moving a few hundred yards was the difference between killing birds and watching them fly by. |
