I looked at em. They're ok. Check out a marsh rat on google. I bought one and love it.

check out bobcat pirogues. I acquired one when my friend left his at my house. Concave bottom and this thing will not turn over.

not worried about flipping, i keep good balance in a pirogue. its the ability to maneuver in very shallow water and carry a load and still move easily. don't want to be plowing when i can glide over ( if i'm making sense ) might just build me another pirogue and be done with it cause i can't seem to find something that i want

take a look at the carstens puddler or pintail. they have always seemed nice. i think the puddler may have a lil bit of rake like your old one

dude this is no chit...

I was on patman last year scouting for ducks and I saw these two dudes in one of those. they had a trolling motor on that sucker and were way the hell away from a boat ramp. That boat had about 2 inches of the sides showing above the water cause of the load they had in it. I just laughed to my self and kept on going. Bout three hours later I was coming back that direction and say them dudes paddlin. I pulled up beside them and asked them if they needed any help and they said no, that their battery only lasted about 30 min and theyde been paddlin the rest of the day. I asked them were they put in at and it was the same place I did...bout 5 miles away.

I asked them if they knew how far away from the ramp they were and they said no. When I told them you should have seen the look on their faces...it was totally priceless. But they still refused any help and I left them paddlin along.

That was some of the funniest chit I have ever seen on that lake.

No i didn't get one yet...I'm trying to decide what I am gonna do and if they are worth getting. No one really knows anything about them. So I'm gonna research a lot more about them.

the stealth boats are nice but they are heavy.... I was looking at them for a while...

The 1200 is air filled and the 2000 is foam filled... They are both very stable and they just came out with a really good blind for them late last year.

When I was looking at them I was really considering a Crawdad motor for them instead of fighting with a battery and trolling motor.

We used to use one and we loved it. they are really tough and stable. we tested it out just to see how much it would really hold and it held 4 of us and all our gear. of course i wouldnt recommend this we were in shallow water just in case it did sink but it didnt even get close to going under. i would highly recommend this boat to anyone they are well worth the money and i cant say enough good things about it.
