Sac-a-Lait
Any sac-a-lait chasers on here? My favorite hobby is fishing sac-a-lait. It’s been years since sac-a-lait fishing has been as good as it is this year. I sure hope this is a sign of good things to come. We are catching more sac-a-lait and for the second year in a row, bass fishing has been outstanding. We are catching bigger bass in my area than I’ve seen in my life time. How is it in y’all area?

Re: Sac-a-Lait
Yes Sir! Best eatin freshwater fish hands down. I start chasing them in December and quit the end of March first of April. I fish jigs and roadrunners, very seldom use live bait. Love them things.

Who Dat, I’m in raceland and haven’t found a ton yet but been getting in the bass. I wouldn’t mind going with you sometime soon and check out some new areas and see your technique for socalet. I’m not an expert in the socalet department and would like to learn some more from someone who does it more often than I do. PM me if you are about it bro

Re: Sac-a-Lait
I use these baits with a 1/16th head and I just slowly real them in. I don’t use a stopper anymore.

Re: Sac-a-Lait
The wind has been brutal on my equipment but we caught a few the last few days. I work the next several days so i am giving them a break then turning to bass fishing after that.
