No, I turned them loose. Their cords were still wet so they were only a few days old. I live in town or I would have brought them home. Plus I don't think I really wanted to bottle feed 3 squealing pigs for the next few weeks or have animal control knocking on my door.

Good for you poker! But there is no way in hell that I would have let their little asses go.All three would have been on the pit today whole.Hell, we had a 65 pound brangus bull calf that had to be pulled because he was too big for a third year heffer to pass.He only lived for about two hours after the ordeal and he ended in the pot.

It would have taken 2 of them to even stink up the pot. I'll get on them on a couple months. Got everything together for my trap, just need to finish the door. Have some coming in to corn right now, or I did till the water came back up. They will be back soon enough. Got some decent hogs in that group and been seeing a bunch of smaller tracks too. Should be some 50-75 lb pigs in there. Just the right size.

My buddy at work didn't have a trap at the ranch he was working at, so he and another guy went to Alberston's and got the cheapest vodka they could get, soaked some corn, and baited them. Came back and had three passed out. True story.

them litter rooters are cute when they are that young. few weeks and nothen but ugly.

we never had much luck feeding them out. it would clean them up but they would never fatten up.
them wild genes just would not let them. never tried on a real young pig.

So would a AR type rifle in 308 be enough for those little oinkers? We have a scattered groups of wild hogs here in SoIndiana. They were started on some private hunting clubs and they went 'hog wild' alot have been killed off but some stil remain and guys whack them all the time during deer season. We got eight inches of snow last night and today would have been a good day to cut some hog tracks and put a couple down.
Shame you were not set up to fatten those guys up.
