I just had someone call and cancel a cabin at Crips. So as of now Cabin #12 is open. It has two full size beds in it and is $49.50 a night. First one that wants it gets it.

Yea there are two uncertain inns. One on the water and one maybe a 1/4 mile up the road. Both in walking distance to crips.

It's looking good man. Lake is at a pretty good level. Not too low, not too high. Should be a real nice ride for everyone in an aluminum boat. We'll be able to go everywhere we want. Gonna make all of our route plans and meeting points tomorrow. Salvania isn't quite as bad as I thought it was going to be. Guess because of the recent rains, but it's in a lot of areas I haven't seen a whole bunch of it before.

I'll get your boat squared away before we head out and hopefully put an hour or two on it for ya.

Sweet. That will work. What rout are u thinking? See if we can get in bird roost from the river and take the ride to Carter lake then hang a right and go through Clinton and through kitchen creek to stumpy slough. That's a good ride.

Every one usually ride together then splits up. But when the pack splits up there is usually someone who knows where to go. Clay and jmarsh and I know the lake well so I'm sure those guys will be leading

Just about every store/marina sells maps there. We can tell u where the ride will take u and u can mark it on a map or study the map or just follow everyone. That would be the easiest

It's really not a hard lake to learn. There are boat roads there and have markers on them. Pretty simple

Yea you can make it frm the river i did it about 2 weeks ago tight fit in my 52 bottem tho an i was up in alligator thicket an up by the iron bridge an the salvania was purdy thick i know a couple spots over behind big green if somebody wants to go play in it an yes its not a hard lake to learn lol but caddoz knows i have to go an find people alll the time so even if somebody did fall behind or take a wrong turn one of the people that know the lake well will be able to find u

I think it would be kinda hard to get lost with that many people. As long as I have cell service to use my GPS app ill never get lost. Plus I keep a hand held as a back up as well.

You would be surprised most of the places up there if you pull up ur gps on ur phone or google earth you just see a blue dot in the middle of a bunch of trees but a hand held works great if u get lost just follow ur line backout lol also att doesnt get shit for service up there but Verizon works good

Guidry, the maps that crips has of the lake is very very easy to read. My first time there me and some friends took off while everyone was taking a break and we were out in the midle of no where, there are post with markings on them, letters, numbers, etc. Very easy to navigate no problem, we got to where we wanted to go everytime ;)
