Yeah, I'm definitely glad I hit the car wash on the way home.
I was surprised how tough it was to get it off even when it was fresh.
High pressure soap, then high pressure rinse. Got 99.5% of it off. There were a couple of small pieces I couldn't see in the shitty lighting and it's like roofing tar on there now!

I pulled my motor off and sunk it in the pond behind the house after I couldn't get the shit off with a pressure washer... Gotta let it soak!

We went straight to the car wash around the corner right after we left launch and didn't have any problems

I did the post-mortem on my electrical system today.
The "sealed" lithium ion battery was full of water. It's under warranty so I'm gonna see if they'll take it back.
The cheap rocker switch for my trim is acting up a little too. I need to find a good marine sealed switch that fits the cutout soon.

It should be noted that the cheap-o chinese LED light bar, and the linear actuator for the trim, and both tachs are all still good as new. To say the least, I'm shocked. (well, the tinytach is still a POS, but it's the same POS it's always been.)
