I'd like to see where everyone is coming from and when they are leaving, what route they are takin.. Not too familiar with everyone but wouldn't mind following someone on the way up.. Ill be coming from lake Charles, plan on goin up hwy 171 to Shreveport then over to caddo Friday afternoon

I'm taking the route that American Airlines wants to take me from Boston to Dallas. Then I 20 east bound to caddo.

St.Amant La, I-10 to I-49

Up 167 Straight up to i-20 head there Friday evening

Evansville,In to Memphis,Tn. to Little Rock, Ark to Texarkana then to Caddo Lake. Google says ten hours I say less.

Any good places to eat around there? Crawfish?

In Texarkana? There's a little crawfish shack a few miles out of the way. Its more of a take out type of deal but its legit. I can give you directions if you like.

Dunno about crawfish, but we'll probably take a boat ride to big pines for dinner on friday night.

There's a couple more places but they are just par.

Buster I will take directions. I'm lusting for some crawfish. CB my brother and I will be trying to knock out as many miles as possible. We have never been to Texarkana and was thinking it would be good place to stop and get a bite. Texarkana will be our about 'almost there' landmark. We will be ready to eat again later I can assure you of that.

Shreveport, take me about 45 minutes and about 10 different two lane roads, should make for a fun ride home

Not really, just get in the middle of the pack on the way back. You can get there easily by car too

Does river bend have parking and seating for 15-20 boats? Last time i was there, i don't think they did.

I'm not sure about the boat parking I will ask but I know they can seat 85 on the porch when I called other day

Cool. We won't have that many people for dinner on friday night, so that should be more than enough room. It's a five minute car ride from crips too, so some people can drive if that's what yall want to do.
