I think this was up before that happened, regardless, thanks for letting me know so I could get it fixed.

What about just dragging a camper up for the weekend?

I *should* have another boat by then, haven't been to Caddo in a few years.

There is RV parking at the state park a few miles up the road. There is an RV lot at shady glade, it stays pretty booked up, but you are more than welcome to call and check. Crips was talking about having some rv spots down there too, so that's one more place to look at.

Are there any rooms around Uncertain that are elderly friendly? Like bath tubs with the little door so it's easy to get out, ramps instead of stairs for walkers, bed pans, life alert buttons mounted on the walls, AED's, hand rails by the toilets...you know, the usual stuff.

dguidry would appreciate any info, feel free to PM it to him. He was ashamed to ask himself, so I'm just helping out a friend!

If you know you are going to come, lets get these rooms booked up guys. They do have other people who'd like to reserve rooms and I'm going to start releasing them so that the owners don't get stuck with empty rooms that we're not going to fill. I know it's way far out still, but if you know you're coming, get something reserved. When I release them, what's left will likely be gone quick and that isn't gonna leave much else to be rented in the area as lots of the other cabins around the lake are already starting to fill up.

I am trying to update the thread immediately, every time someone lets me know they want a room so the first post should be accurate as far as what is still available.

I wish I could pre-book something but I still don't know for sure if I'm going to be able to go. It will most likely be May before I know anything 100%... I could still drag the camper but that's going to be a wagon train of crap going down the road with a 36ft camper tagging a 20ft boat trailer look like the circus is coming to town.... Hopefully there's something somewhere left so I don't have to go that route.

SETX, if shady glade doesn't have any rv spots, the state park usually does and it's only a few miles away. Might be able to shack up with someone else in one of the bigger places too. I know Brandon rented a big lodge and was looking for some to help with the rent.

Well I got my boat the end of March but still don't know 100% as far as my work schedule goes... I basically live on-call...

If it works out where I can make it, I'll figure something out. Pulling the camper up there is pretty much a last resort. I'd rather not.
