Anyone else's dog ever develope these pink spots under its nose. They are a little puffy but not sore. I saw her grinding her nose in the grass and noticed it looked a little raw.

Does the dog digg in the ground alot?

My dog gets that when we hunt in the thick marsh grass. Stuff is like sand paper, heals up in a week or so.

can be from sunburn, scraping it or i believe its called winter nose. its nothing to worry about from what ive seen. it should heal up

Yeah that makes sense. We just had our opener and it had that rough marsh grass where we were. I figured that was it but had to ask before I brought the dog in for a bullshit vet visit.

mine looks like that on pretty much the whole underside of his muzzle, his is almost like a callous now. he got his like that from training, either from rubbing it on the ground when he picks the bumper up or from the knobs of the bumper hitting it when he rolls it at full speed.
