Re: Anybody getting a DD Most DD's aren't hard to train. Teach em obedience and put em in game. Most breeders are more than willing to help new handlers. Join your local VDD chapter and you'll be around a group of people with a ton of knowledge about these dogs

Re: Anybody getting a DD @wpevey...I'm getting a male pup from vom Altmoor. I will be sure to get him out in the field often. Turkey season will just be starting so I will be able to show him some new things and new smells. We have tons of hogs and hunt them all year so you know I'm going to make sure and stick a few with my bow to show him what a blood trail is.

Re: Anybody getting a DD I would try to find a local NAVHDA chapter and learn to train yourself. They are very easy to train and have a high desire to please. There pry drive is crazy high on all game no cats or any other small animals around as they will become a quick meal.

Re: Anybody getting a DD JD, Ran da Klous boy in his HZP last Saturday in North Pole.
Scored all 10's . Had a poor duck which he caught in about 2 minutes flat. If he could have hand a better duck would have scored a 12 and a 186 but we settled for a 180.
