Post My lab got cut bad on the prop
Hey guys, many of you are aware of how sharp these props can get from skipping off rocks and sand.

I had my motor all the way down with the prop in the mud. My dog came in from a retrieve and tried climbing over it. This was the result.

Man that’s fucking bad. I’m glad you posted this, I’m going to change my angle as to where the dog comes in at the boat for the hunt deck. Hope you pup is better soon

That s pretty bad...definitely needs some stitches, or at least some super glue and tape. Disinfect the hell out of it as well. This happened to my dog last year as well..not that bad at all, but enough to Glue it back together when we got back to camp.

Yeah I’m glad he is going to be ok bro. My dog cut her pad on her back foot in half one time on an oyster shell and had to get stitches and glue because of it. She now has a permanently straight toe cause the tendon was cut on that foot when she caught that oyster shell. Glad you pup will be ok bro

We have a ton of gators but I go everywhere with an ak47 or an AR so if I see one checking my pup out while we working, I get 30 chances a round to take care of the problem lol

Crap! My dog comes in all the time close to the prop. Never would have imagined that could happen.

Hope he makes a quick recovery

Another reason I'm against a hunt deck... Don't know if you have one but a hunt deck makes that a obstacle.

He's doing better. Still on antibiotics, still has stitches, and a dumb ass cone on his head. But better...
