Re: dog help Try not steadying her. Play with her and get her really excited where she really wants the ball/bumper then throw it and jut play fetch for a little while. Gotta restore tht drive to retrieve

Re: dog help And only do it for a few retrieves at a time. Put her up wanting more. Took a couple weeks with my Boykin and now she goes nuts to retrieve

Re: dog help got the sport dog collar with the beep feature. put it on her to work with her today. totally different dog I didn't even turn the collar on an she listens to all commands. she left one time before she was given the command to leave on a retrieve an I hit the beep on the collar an she never did it again. the last thing I want to so is shock this dog an I don't think I ever will or have too. couple more weeks workin with her ill take her on a hunt !
