Post Northeast TX HRC
This weekend was a pretty good way to start off the HRC trial season for me and Matt. our numbers were not as we wanted but we got to see what we needed to work on. saturday was a bust, but matt got one dog of three who passed out of twenty five total dogs at the finished level. the finished test that day was tough. there was not a single part of it that was easy. same for sunday. I was proud of my personal finished dog for she got got a pass on a tough test. the judges said as i was going up to get my ribbon that she was one of the best dogs to run the test that day. I think that the tests are starting to have some meat to them and i think it is going to be a trend for a while. so all of you training hunt test dogs or are thinking of running hunt tests train harder and more complicated and difficult concepts because it is what you will be seeing at tests.

Glad to hear your meat getter did well. When are ya'll going to your next test? I'm not sure if Guy is going to do B/CS UKC or the Dallas club for the AKC the last week in March. Since Jammer got his master title, I told him he owed it to him to try and get those last 3 master passes to get qualified for the nationals.

I'm trying to convince Guy that he needs to be at that double master to try and get Jammer qualified for the nationals.
