That is a fine looking lab.

Do you mind if I ask, what do you do with all those shit ducks? They are a flat out blast to shoot/hunt, but what do you do with them when you get home?

Grind them up and make jerky or tacos or anything that you use grind meat. They are awesome looking birds. I shoot 6-8 deer a year so I dont need mallards to fill the freezer.

LOL  I do the same thing! I save all the goose and diver breasts and grind them into sticks. We have a locker that makes the most kick ass Hawian snack sticks I've ever eatin! The divers are pretty, just taste like gizzard shad! Just got done cleaning a few golden eye for the stick collection!

Great Stuff........and I for one, am glad that sea ducks and divers have a bad reputation on the table. Leaves lots of birds for us guys that know better. Then I ain't never shot um in the south. Duckdon

the breast all taste the same if they are seasoned with some "slap ya mama" and then battered with a fish fry/flour mix and deep fried..........i promise you wouldnt be able to tell the difference from a diver to a wood duck. now if you make a gumbo or a gravy with the two, then you will taste the difference.
