What's y'all opinions on muts? I usually would never keep one, but found one on a job site and ever since I picked her up she has really impressed me with how smart she is. It turned out it was one a neighbor had, but didint want so I kept her. She's part catahoula, 3/4 lab. I've seen her dad and he's beautiful. Idk whether I want to keep her and train her or not, what would y'all do? |

Lab and beegal? ![]() I really don't see much else than the spots on her back feet that make her look like she's mixed. I'll just have to see how she does, which will probably be the final factor. If she keeps up impressing me I'm going to go ahead an 'put the duckbryd trainin on her' |

My 3 year old dog is a mutt and fetches ducks and geese just as good as my friends AKC lab. He is 3/4 lab and 1/4 heeler, and is an absolute machine in the duck blind and probably the best dog I've ever owned in general. Take that fwiw... Notice his lack of a tail, he was born without it and can swim like a fish! |

Catahoulas are really smart dogs dude, keep her! One of the best retrievers I have seen was a German Shepard lab mix my friend had, that thing is huge. |

Made the decision to keep her.. She's a damn smart dog. She's 6 months old and is already picking up on things. We went out on the lake today so I decided to take her with me. She LOVES the water. Think she might turn out to be a pretty good dog |
