Six weeks old is very young. Small pups will have trouble regulating their temeperature. PLan on crate training him first. Teach him how to live in the house first. Then if you are going to turn him into an outdoor kennel dog, you will have that early experience in hand. It is a good thing to have an older dog know how to behave in the house. In addition, those first months in the house will form a deeper bond......forever. Good luck with Moose! |

To help with crate training and "kennel" command, feed him in there. He will learn to know it is a happy place. My now 8 month old pup got so used to going in there that anytime he was inside and got tired he would go straight to the crate and fall asleep. |
