1.5 years will make sure they don't get any nutrient deficiencies while they are growing. Most bags say at least one year, FYI |

i fed mine science diet chicken and rice puppy for a year now they get diamond naturals chicken and rice high energy |

I went a year and a half on the puppy food. I now use Iams. My dog keeps a shiny coat and a nice muscular tone. |
