Post Yellow Lab Daisy
I know alot of you look for hunting dogs and most precisely puppies, but I'm just putting this here incase someone is interested in a very good pet.

Daisy is an owner surrender that I got from an old man here in Houma. He was trying to rehome her but not having luck and threatened to just let her go. The vet that I deal with told me (knowing that I vol. for the NOLA rescue) and she found out all the details. I talked to him yesterday and got to meet Daisy. From what he says, she is pure bred lab. From what I gather, she was bought by his daughter, then the daughter got divorced and the dog got pushed aside and the man took her about 1 year ago. He is up in age and just can't take care of her anymore alone. He has health issues and decided it was best for her to get rehomed.

Daisy is 2-3 y/o, spayed, fully vetted, hw- and on proheart. She will be microchipped. She seems to have had some OB training and listens pretty well. I introduced her to my 2 labs and had no issues. She is great with kids and loves to play. I did find out she can retrieve tennis balls very well and will bring them right back. She is an inside dog and likes to hang around. She plays very well with my 2 labs. She is a little overweight, but that is because she was not getting excercise. Hopefully she'll lose a few pounds now that she is at my place being able to run and play. She rides in cars very good. She kennels easily. When time allows I will see if she likes swimming and fetching in water.

If anyone is interested or know of anyone interested, please go to http://www.nolalabrescue.org and fill out the adoption app.

Here are some pics of her.

Post Re: Yellow Lab Daisy
i'm pretty sure thats a golden retriever/lab mix. The best dog i ever had (and probably the best i will ever have) was a golden/lab mix.. They're good dogs, tend to be a little high strung, but i wouldn't hesitate to own, train, and hunt another one in the future.
