Just found out some of the worst news today I could hear. My 8month old lab just got in from the vet getting his prelim report on suspicion of having signs of hip displasia only to find out he has a torn acl and requires immediate surgery and not for sure if the hip caused the acl or vice versa and what will be our next step after the acl repair surgery just know recovery is minimum 2 months |

Just got home fron dropping diesel off from the vet for his acl repair surgery hoping all goes well |

My Luke had the CCL surgery last October. Couldn't even tell now |

diesel is out of surgery and said he's waking up all is well waiting on the call to come get him and get the run down on what we are allowed to do and not do for the next few days |

Prob next few weeks. Slow recovery. Luke had the surgery where they cut n rotate the bone n screw in the metal plate. 2 month recovery. |

last I heard from dr. he said pretty much kennel bound for the next 10days minimum then slowly start walking him around and get to some water once the incision is healed and swim to hearts content to build muscle back up |

They prob did a diff type if surgery. There us a few diff ways they repair the ccl |
