 Working on hold.
Still working on ob but he is holding well for now. Knows fetch it up and usually will. He got kicked out of training because he was howling at the trainers and wouldn't stop so now I have to take it on myself. Not really what I wanted to do because of all I work, but I won't fail this dog because I choose to work my ass off.

 Re: Working on hold.
Nice job . Don't know what to think of the pro who wouldn't trained a dog for howling , the howling is a easy fix . Once your done with hold , then on to force fetch , that will ensure he will pick up on command all the time . FF is another form of OB IMO . Good luck !

 Re: Working on hold.
Frankly, I can see he's got hold "mastered". Good for both of you!

 Re: Working on hold.
Not looking forward to ff only because I hear it can be difficult both for dog and owner. But I'm going to follow my trainers advice step by step. The howling was an issue because he is in a parish with very strict dog laws and shitty neighbors.
