Taffey is fourteen years old and she's been the best. Last fall was the first time she
could not go hunting. It was a tough decision to swallow.
Yesterday, at duck/fish camp we took a boat ride. The camera was mounted on a
tripod and unfortunately the horizon was a bit off. However, Taffey didn't care. She
needs a ramp any time we go anywhere and has accepted the fact that jumping in
and out of the boat is no longer possible.
Actually, we both need a little extra help.
The trip was in the backwaters of the Mississippi River in pool 13 near Spring Lake.
River is up quite a bit (out of the banks) and we went out into the main channel in
the middle of the video. She slept really well the rest of the day.
These photos are from early sunset the evening before.
note: I propped my computer moniter up a bit on the left side and the horizon
issue goes away (kind of).
