My blue healer got in a fight this weekend while i was gone and got his face bitten. From what i could see it looked like the inside of his bottom eyelid was cut open but i couldnt see very well due to swelling and him not letting me look at it very much. when i first saw it it was leaking a yellowish puss looking fluid and almost matted shut making me think that there may be an infection setting in. all i coud do at the time was clean it up with warm water. i wont be able to get him to the vet until wednesday so is there any kind of eyedrops or anything like that i can get from the pet store or is that kind of stuff only given out by the vet? |

Keep it as clean as possible, but not getting an antibiotic until then isn't good. If it's just the eyelid, it'll probably heal up eventually. Just take him as soon as you can. |

when i was clenaing it the eye its self looked fine im just worried about infection. |

Flush with saline, and just get him there wednesday. Shouldn't get too bad by then as long as you can keep it clean |
