It's common among dogs. Do a bit of googling. I've got 1 that always wants to (can usually prevent him, just have to watch him in the yard), and 3 others that wont. Usually it's nothing. Sometimes it's a diet issue, but if you're feeding a good food on a regular schedule, just mention it to your vet next visit to make sure they don't want to be concerned.

Had one that loved to eat cow shit. She would follow the cows around the pasture waiting for a big green runny pile of shit and then roll around in it and eat it.

Just brought my 13yr old to the vet she was anemic. I was feeding her diamond naturals. The vet said it is a decent food. Just not enough vitamins for an old dog. Now she is on proplan and redcell vitamins.

So to your problem bubba. Maybe something is lacking nutrient wise for that dog.

For the record mine wasn't eating shit though.

She is 6 but looks like she is 10. Maybe I'll get a different food for her.

The vets at All Creatures have asked me before what I feed them because they are so healthy. But she is the only one having issues

Looks like she's is 10? She gray already? There's an actual part of genetic code that causes a dog to prematurely gray. Has nothing to do with diet, activity, etc.

I've been feeding the Victor brand food for a couple years now. Really pleased with it. Victor brand has never had a recall that I'm aware of

My girls search for the cat sh*t... My yellow loves it and it's disgusting. I've tried everything about to go to a shock collar for her.

Shock collar won't solve it, wea. The dog poop thing can be a diet or ocd thing (cleanup after each other because they're pooping in the wrong spot) or random nothing, but cat shit is like crack. You won't cure that with a shock collar lmao.

Just cuz it's good food doesn't mean the dog is getting everything it needs from it.

Another quality food may be worth a shot if you are having any troubles.

Not sure if switch if the only problem you are having is him eating turds though.
