Trying to get some ideas for a houseboat foundation…
Going to use 4x8x3 float docks. Overall 20’x40’
Does anybody have pictures of some homemade frames used to support the structure, or has anybody used float docks to build on?
Thinking about doing something along the lines of this…
Made out of 4” wide flange beams and 4x3 angle iron.
Just trying to save myself some time if I don’t have to go with this heavy of material.

My favorite uncle has a damn nice one for sale at a damn good price. Just buy his & save yaself the trouble.
