Like everything else, ya gonna get a lot of mixed reviews. I read where ppl love em & I read where they were garbage. I just got a new pair of Macks that I'm lookin fwd to wearin. Got a buddy that bought a set last year & swears by em. I got another buddy that bought a set of Drakes last year & said he'll never buy anything else again. I caught the Mack's on sale & jumped on em. Whatever ya choose, good luck with em.

I been using a 100 dollar pair from academy goin on three years now. No issues at all. Don't get to hunt quite as much as some, but usually twice a week during the season. I wore them every trip for two seasons. Wade around in stumps and through brush and have not had any problems. Dad, Uncle, Brother, and one of my buddies all bought a pair after I put mine through a season. I think the price has gone up to about 119 or somethin, but still a good deal. Watched several friends go through more than one pair that they paid a lot more for. They're the 5.5 mm thick, with armored knees, and I think 800 grams of thinsulate (might be a thousand).

I bought a set of the lightweight one's last year before teal season, and used them when it was above about 40 degrees. I like both of them and would recommend either to anyone.

If you go to the coleman website they normally have waders on sale.

Been usin lacrosse for years. not a single problem out of them. I hear their customer service is second to none as well. The drakes do look nice but damn them things are expensive.

I think I'm going to with the cabelas brand. They say they have a lifetime warranty. Guys on another site said they returned theirs when they ripped and cabelas replaced them no questions asked. I'm gonna call them to verify. Sounds to good to be true but I'll let y'all know.

I can voutch for the Cabelas waders.

This will be season number 5 that I have used mine, and they are hard to match IMO. I've owned the bass pro waders that look like that have space boots on the bottom, a pair of lacross brush tough (or whatever they call theirs) and some plain academy waders.

The Cabela's ones are tough, easy to get on, and have enough pocket space for what I use it for.

Also, I've never had to return waders there, but I did return some boots once, and they gave me no problems even though I realized they were not for me after I had worn them a full day in the field. You've got to like someone who stands behind their brand.

I wouldn't buy another pair. Ripped my Lacrosse to shreds scouting during the season on my vacation days. Had to get some waders quick and bought the drakes i believe 250. They lasted a week when one of the suspenders ripped off. They over stitched the seams and basically cut the neopreme suspender in half before sending them to the store.

Stick with the LaCrosse Swamp Fox or the Nothern Flight if you want a light weight pair.

On a side note Bowie Outfitters was great about taking them back. They couldn't get a hold of Drake due to Christmas holiday's. I had come straight from the swamp with the waders and w/o receipt and they swapped them for another pair of LaCrosse.
