Best Motor Kohler? Honda? Kawasaki? Vanguard?
I definitely want either a go devil or a mud buddy longtail. There are just so many motor brands out there. I have looked at two different motors, one is a honda and the other is a Kohler. I just don't know which one to get!
Is one more reliable or more powerful than the other???

I'd go with the kohler. Gonna be the cheapest parts, and easiest to maintain. And its a solid motor.
As far as power, they should all be pretty similar. Got a buddy who has been running a honda for a while now with no issues. The kawi is liquid cooled, so that is just one more thing that could go wrong...

I have the Vangaurd motor and it has been excellent. I hear that Honda's are the best from a "reliability" standpoint. but I like my Vanguard because it has the pull start as a backup to the battery.
IMO It would go #1-Honda #2- Vanguard #3- Kohler #4- Kawi.
take that for what its worth..

I didn't even see Vanguard listed on there. Wonder how I missed that...
