Post recoil start for briggs 35?
Hey guys I was just wondering if they even make pull start for a 35 or if it will work. I really would like to have this as backup and was seeing if any one knew where to get it or any other suggestions thanks zack.

I guarantee if there is a recoil for it and you can crank I will not f**k with you. You better be a gorilla cause I don't think it is humanly possible.

I have never seen one but that doesnt mean they dont exist.... the thing about the 35 is that you have to have a battery hooked up to make it run... that plays a lot in the reason that one may not exist. but it would be beneficial if you ever have starter issues.

It runs without a battery, its just that the clutch will not work untill the charging system starts putting out at 2000rpms.

well... from what i have been told is that the 23HP is the largest motor that will run w/o a battery... once again that is what I have been told so may not be the truth

I know my kohler won't run with out the battery, and neither would my dads 32 briggs. Probably something to do with the backfire solenoid like yall are saying.

I don't think it's humanly possible to get this engine pull started either. I had a battery go out one time on my 660 one cylinder atv with a decompression cam and all, and I had one hell of a time getting it started. It was definitely no lawn mower so I can even imagine how hard you would have to pull to get a V Twin engine started.

i am sure if you can catch the motor just right off the compression stroke you could pull start it but its still going to take a big ole boy
