Mr. Brooks...i'm not sure what you mean by the indention thingy's but they are not cross braces, is it maybe just grinding marks on the aluminum. The boat hull ran me about $5K, I really like the drop deck I thought on it a while cause my buddy runs an 1846 GTB standard transom and it is a good hull but takes on alot of mud when we are cutting up so I opted for the drop deck and wouldn't change it if I could. I will try to post some pics of the paint job cause it came out bad-ass.

What advantage does the way the sides are bent give when compared to a tradition side?

Saizon didn't post a picture which clearly shows the bottom profile - but
it does appear that the planeing pad is significantly narrower than one might expect....
