How do you know if you're a hardcore duck hunter? I came up with a few points that I think we all have in common.

1. If you spend more on gas for your duck boat than your truck during the season; you're hardcore.

2. If you spend more on shotgun shells for the week than food; you're hardcore.

3. If you see nothing wrong with spending $1000 for a new shotgun but complain when your wife buys $60 dollar shoes; you're hardcore.

4. If the sun rises day after day and you find yourself dressed in camo and surrounded by water each time; you're hardcore.

5. If you need that 1 extra mph so you can make it to work on time; you're hardcore.

6. If your truck and boat become permanently bonded for two months out of the year; your hardcore.

These are just a few things I thought of, let me know if you guys think of something.

You know you hardcore when your boat and mudmotor combo costs more than your house.

If your waders and hunting coat are newer and more expensive than your finest Sunday go to meeting clothes.

If you use 20ga. shotgun shells instead of colored eggs for your children's Easter Egg hunt.

If you think it is cool that your boys will fist fight over the best corner of the blind!

If your duck boat, duck truck, and shotgun are perfectly lubed and serviced, but the AC filters in the house haven't been changed since last Christmas.

If you keep yourself on a 4AM wake up schedule year around, just to stay "tuned-up" for hunting season.

If you leave two trucks, a car, a tractor, and the children's bikes outside, but keep your duck boat in the garage!

You know your hardcore when you wake up at 4:00 in the morning to jack with a bunch of dumbazz people at the boat ramp when you could be layin in bed.

You know your hardcore when you drive a slow ass boat to your hole that noone else could get to only to have somebody get thier outboard pushed up in there as close as they can get to your spotlight and scare ducks all mornin with some horrible callin.

You know your hardcore when you put up with this stuff every mornin knowin damn well 90% of the time your gunna shoot 1 or 2 ducks.

I have a camoflauge toilet in my duck boat.
