The way I read it, he was charging people to come take more than their limit of birds. So he is charging them for illegally killed birds, that's trafficing.

ill bet there is more to it. if you guide 5 people on a hunt for say 500 bucks each, those people want to kill there 500 dollars worth. there is you, another guide, helper and 5 people, that 8 limits to shoot. the three workers never shoot a gun how many ducks can you kill? well its 30 even though you have enough hunters to kill 48 the limit is still 6 birds each hunter not 3 for one and 8 for another and 1 for one and so on. 6 for each. ill bet its something like that. they are probally letting the hunters shoot there birds.

as for prison, i doubt that for game violations, but stranger things happen.

I think before sponsors completely drop you, you'd have to be found guilty. But, it's hard not to assume things with the feds dropping a case on him. This is a bad situation for him anyway. I dang sure wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

They dropping this lacey act all the time, just sent a few dozen guys around here to prision one of them being a game warden for hunting over bait and out of season

Damn they been camping his ass for awhile, it's pages and pages of undercover officers being guided by Foiles while breaking the law.

Thats what they do,they build a case and then hammer'em. When you get stopped and checked its random but when you are doing dirt they will let you bury yourself while they are watching and even filming in some cases.

I know he was filming for his show but I have seen them build cases down here and film the offending parties for several hunts to really fork them. It leads to bigger fines and better cases.

Someone is always going to drop a dime on someone for stuff like this especially if there is money involved,competeing clubs or guides it happens. Thats how they know who to look at. My buddy guides down here and just got a call yesterday asking if they booked with him if they could shoot the guides limit. He told them no the guide also shoots,you never know who is on the other end of the phone line.

Didnt he report that someone stole some guns and his layards full of bands out of his truck a couple months age at a show?

There is no way i think id lower myself to killing geese out of a park for band, much less carrying that many dam bands around my neck, thats stuff gets heavy quick.
