 Prayers NeededA friend of mine jumped a hog while running dogs today and shot at it but missed and started chasing after it, he didnt put his gun back on safety when running and got tangled in a brair patch. His .270 went off and the bullet tore his leg up pretty good, he has a shattered bone and nerve damage and they are expecting him to stay in the hospital for at least a month.

Re: Prayers Needed Man my girlfriend goes to nursing school with his girlfriend. She was tellin me about it Friday but didn't know the whole story. Definatly shows how easy a accident can happen when you get excited and quit paying attention to stuff. Will be prayin for him and his family!!

Re: Prayers Needed May god repair his body and help his family recover from this horrible accident. I sometimes have nightmares about hunting accidents where I see my son hurt. I awake in a cold sweat. I have to convince myself sometimes that the risks we take are worth the hunting experience. I think so, as long as. We never, never, never forget that safety is first.
