I am taking a trip this week but don't quite know where. the migration maps show that missouri is getting a good mallard push on into northwest Louisiana. I know nobody wants to give thier holes up but if anybody wants to give me general public hunting areas that normally hold birds in these two states i can handle the scouting. if anyone has any info on hunting Yucatan lake that would help. its one place im thinking about.

Atchafalaya golf course 6th hole pond on the left set your decoys on the far point of the pond. Think you should use 3 mallard drake decoys, two mallard hen decoys, and a dozen teal. Put the mojo on the left side of the spread and turn it off once the sun comes up. I think you should be able to shoot at least 2 limits.

Try Nebraska.

I hear that Missouri public hunting is a pain in the azz... Just hear say. But I got a mutual friend of a friend that lives in Mizzou and he goes to Arkansas to avoid all the bs red tape.
