Do they just help u get on plane faster? Seems to me like if it has tril it really dont need a cav plate?

i think they are more for reverse......someone correct me if im wrong.

The only time it seems to make a difference to me is in the mud. The cav plate seems to help keep it from blowing out as bad.

Ive heard they pull more like a longtail in shallow water, it kinda sucks the water into the prop.

Well, now that I've got the kinks outta this one, I think things are gonna be a lil different. Yeah, it's my 3rd MB, 1st was the 27 mini (not enough azz), 2nd was a used & abused motor that I put alot of tlc into & now it's better than the day I bought it, both of which are still in service today, just with different owners.
