Well they got my works digital camera, my gps and my S&W 9mm from the centerconsole of my truck

that aint worth a shit......i know how you feel. back in september i was in houston for business and my house got demolished. they took about 13K worth of stuff. 8 guns, all my tvs, clothes, food, medicine, tools out of my shed,etc. well you get the idea....i know the feeling. i havent recovered one item from when it happened. i hope you cat the sonof abitches.

Me and my family were on our way to Disney World, we stopped at Lake City Florida for the night. I got a call at about 3am from the hotel saying my SUV was broke into. I jumped out of bed hoping to get to whoop somebody's ass! I didn't have too, cops had already taken care of that for me. Ol' boy was in the back of the truck missing about 3 teeth and full of blood. Broke my window, stole the GPS, DVD player for my lil girl, and can you believe it even stole my wife and my lil girl's clothes. The bad thing was I forgot $1000 cash sitting in the glove box that thankfully he didn't see. We luckily got everything back that night. Ol' boy and 1 of his patnah's and his ol lady was going around breaking into everyone's car's. He had everything from guns, to scuba equipment, to electronics in the back of a Dodge dually that was also stolen. Had to buy all new clothes for vacation, I still get a check every once in a while from those punks, they served jail time and have to pay money back. I was very lucky though, if i would have went outside and caught ol' boy and tried to fight him straight up, he would've probably shot me because he was carrying a loaded weapon when they caught him. Lesson learned, now i carry!

Concealed weapons permit is a joke.....ya got to leave your gun in the car everywhere you go...all places that sell alcoholic beverages....so you have to leave it in the car to go in the store or restaraunt...can't carry in a public park, can't carry in church..can't carry into most work places....ya gotta leave it in the truck 90% of the places you go. The castle law in texas already makes it a right to carry in your car. I've been carrying for years. I figure if ya ain't doin anything wrong your not likely to get searched....if I shoot a bad guy, ill beg mercy from the court but at least ill have done the right thing.

Open carry is retarded in my book. I wouldnt want somebody to know that I was armed, it's called the element of surprise. The only people that should be able to open carry are on duty police officers or other on duty members of law inforcement.

I agree about mississippi coast, but those levees saved all of nola from the surge....the leak in the levee just filled up the toilet bowl called the 9th ward. I saw what the damage of 15-20' of water coming onshore looks like after ike hit galveston and crystal beach....my dads 30' sailboat has never been found and it totally LEVELED the coast. Way different than flooding(I knows the flooding was 20' in some parts but it ain't like a wall of water hittin ya). We had a barge wash inland across all that land where shallow prong is and end up on hwy 73 and that wasn't evenas bad as it was on bolivar.

See what happened was when LA flooded ya'll sent all the theiveing bastards over here, we were doing just fine till them forkers got here!

Dude you really don't know what you are talking about with that levee shit. The levees were washed away in St Bernard and Plaquamines parish. Areas around NOLA with no levees disappeared. I lived outside that jungle the lower 9 our water came from the missisippi river gulf outlet levees that the corps neglected for decades while the saltwater intrusion killed thousands of acres of cypress swamp. The shit you saw on tv was lakeview and that water never made it to the lower 9. There were several breachs around NOLA that flooded them a DAY after we were underwater. The water that hit the lower 9th ward was the same that put 12' in my house a storm surge that TOPPED the levees and washed them away. Whole communities along the coast were washed away completely but all you saw was those fcuking neggirs.

As far as crime in Tx I was in Htown 30 years ago and had our vehicle get broken into and my shit never got broken into 1/2 mile outside the 9th ward because our sheriff don't like neggirs. We just know how to deal with them.
