i have to say i seein alot of boats in my day from a number of poeple and have own 4 different boat builders boat and i do not know what u all see in this uncle j boat the welds r not good the boat does not look good but who the hell am i and guess what its not my boat have to run around ridin in and for prices ever one says he has the best price well that goes back to u pay for what u get and one more point before i end my story any one can get a bad ass paint job and make an old ugly boat and the welds look good

Seems like if his boats were as bad as you say there wouldn't be so many people with em. Sounds to me like his company is growing so he must be doing something right. If you get a chance post some pics of your boat builds so you can show us what quality work is.

I can't believe people get upset over someone stating they don't like a boat.
I have an Aucoin and I love it. I know people who don't care for some things about it. Am I mad they don't like my boat? No of course not. I'm not gonna run around sayin "if you don't like my boat, then I'm not gonna be your friend".
Personally I don't like the style of J's boats either, but that's is my opinion. There are others I don't like as well, and then there are builders who shape boats the way that does appeal to me. If you like Uncle J's boats and want him to build you one, fine it's your money spend it how you want. But lately it has become a "popularity thing" meaning if you don't have an Uncle J boat then you can not be in the new cool kids group. please......

If you don't like, don't buy. Or....... Tell me how you would like it. It is a custom boat. Anytime it comes down to me and a paying customer designing a boat, he or she can change whatever they want.
