Post Becareful with your boats lower unit!
Since boating season is pretty much here, the thieves have been hard at work stealing lower units down here. I sometimes keep my center console on a city owned lot and this past week 5 units were stolen out of there and another 10 three months ago. This is why I only store my boat there when I get home from a trip real late and the next day I move it. Anyway, I noticed that several of the boats on the lot have a U lock designed to prevent someone from stealing your gear case easily and thought I would post the link here. It's $49 and by looking at it closely at the boats that I've seen with them in place, it'll definitely make it a lot more difficult for someone to take off the unit with just basic hand tools.
