Post 420 rancher vs big bear IRS
I'm looking to buy a new bike... I narrowed it down to the Honda 420 Manuel shift or the bigbear 400...
For the Honda it has great power and ride and Honda is legendary for there reliability...this bike I rode an like

For the big bear it has differential locker an IRS ... Never rode 1 so idk what tge power is like... But I am a big fan of the look and versatility of it... But I find it a little more pricy....

Im goin to be hunting alot of trail riding an some mud
Im deff buying a 4x4 Manuel yamaha r Honda from miss. Due to best prices I have found...
But what is yall's opinions on the 2 bikes....

No love for the big bear I see... The 420 is around 1300 cheaper anyway.

The big bear will have more low end power for sure. I wouldnt say honda is anymore reliable than the new yamaha's. I like them both and for hunting only I would get big bear.

Another plus the 420 is fuel injected.

My Sportsman 500 rides like a caddy. I hate that Honda straight axle. We had a good variety of atvs and side by sides at my deer lease by Fort McKavitt. My Polaris rode smoother than all. My Rhino was prettty smooth. All the Hondas rode like a square wheeled chuck wagon. I would stay away from the Honda if has a straight axle.

I would buy the big bear. I had a 07 420 rancher (straight axel) and the low end power was pretty good however since honda has them in IRS now they have them geared different and that low end power is gone. Any rancher does not like water none whatsoever by the way.

I'm not real concerned about the more powerful bike, I jus need the ability to climb over logs, pull threw sum ruts nothing major, and keep up in slushy conditions when going on big rides... An I do get in bout waste- chest deep of water every now n then.... I guess I need to stop taking my boat on land n stop taking my bikes in lakes...:/
