 Back to trapping!! Got a phone call yesterday from the county asking if I would do some damage control trapping for them. They gots a few beavers that are daming up some culverts. Thought it was sweet that the county called me. I'm hoping I do good and maybe get hired as the county's nuisance trapper. Probally would just be a part time job might turn in to more than I think. Ill post up some oice if I catch a few

Re: Back to trapping!! lol gotcha. Yeah hopefully we get a few outta their. I told the county guys they dont pay me till I catch some. I charge per animal I catch.

Re: Back to trapping!! How you go about trapping a beaver up there? Never trap a beaver just nutria and racoons and an otter once. Conibear trap, leg trap, snare?

Re: Back to trapping!! a usually trap a beaver with a lot of booz and some sweet talk.. BUT if the beaver is elusive sometimes i'll break down and by dinner!

Re: Back to trapping!! I do mostly foot hold traps. But when I'm trying to completly clean them out of a area I will also set some 330 connibears in the runs.
