Re: pearce fabrication hulls ? Garrett was a pleasure to deal with. I didn't want to post up pics until I get it painted and rigged out and ready to do a full review. I still got to build my motor for it too, so it's gonna be a lil while. Sucks only having two days a week, at best, to work on it. I will shoot you a few pics of mine laying in the yard this weekend.

Re: pearce fabrication hulls ? We both have pd's. Dad has a 32 with a cam, exhaust, heads, and 36 carb. I still have my Kohler, but I'm in the process of building a 36 with new slightly oversized pistons, heads, cam, and exhaust.
They are both 3/16 bottoms, 1/8 sides, 5 2x2 long runners (we were gonna do six, but with the tapered chines six made it almost solid all the way across), and 4 2x2 cross braces. My old pd boat with half the bracing and a 1/8 bottom held up pretty well, so I think this one should last me a long time. Dad will probably never need another one. I'm hoping to have my motor built in the next weekend or so, and hoping to get the bottom steel flexed, boat painted, and all my electrical run in time for the run at caddo. Things are going smooth so far, so I think I'll make the deadline. |
