I just got my aluminum clutch cover today from Take'emgator. It was a much needed upgrade since my old one is on its last leg,I've kinda busted it up. This mofo is solid and not going any place.If anyone is looking to do something else with their clutch cover shoot Justin a PM and he can hook you up. I got the plain aluminum but he also has some in diamond plate. If you have the means to do so get you one.

Whats wrong with the factory cover?

They are either cracking or when you put aftermarket exhaust like a BPS for sure and some others the plastic begins to warp real bad. I had a BPS and it melted my cover so thats where i got the idea from, didn't want to keep replacing the covers.

To be honest mine does have alot of hours on it and I really don't know how many and it still works but it was time for a new one so I decided to upgrade.

They paid me!! Wow I'm glad I don't have to work thanks gator-tail !! Nothing like making 100 grand a year telling dumbforks like your self to fork off!!

O why mine last so long is I know how to back up with out letting the reverse heat up and melt it!! and if I ever need to change it I can do it my self!!

anyone have an issue with the bolts rattling out when running the new covers? thought about putting a tiny amount of loc-tite on the head of the bolt to hold it on the cover.

You can loctite the ends, mine hasn't backed out but i get it tight with a lock washer try that

I've talked to Kyle himself and asked why don't he make aluminum covers and the simple ffacctt is money and time, said that it would take a bit of time and money to set up a machine to make them

I'll tell ya'lls why Gator-Tails don't do it ....... It's 'cause it's the only ways some of us non-mechanic types can performs Up-Grades on our level of abilities !!!! I put mines on and there fo a little while ..... I felt .... Special !!!!!
