Post Inboard Motor?
I'm thinking of trying my hand at building a true mud boat. Does anyone have any knowledge or know where I can find a used marine motor to put in a flat boat? Thinking of a 150-200hp. Its all in the planning stage and will probably be for the next year. Just trying to get things lined up.

Why you need a marine engine?
A 350 with a radiator straight from a car would work.

OK. So what I'm seeing here is that I'm in over my head about this idea. Its gonna cost more money and time than I have and still have a lot of maintenance. Idea deffered

I was just wanting something to get up river fast and still get to the duck hole. AND be different

He already had the Charles Leonard hull and trailer. He added the sponsons, center console, outdrive, and engine. He said he put $15k for the additions. Thats all he was asking. Hes willing to work on the price.
