Went to start the motor yesterday, and the motor wasn't running smooth. Didn't try nothing just loaded up and went home. This morning went out to try to see whats wrong, pulled the spark plugs out, the one on the right side (looking at the back of the motor) was bent and cracked. Need some help from u motor guys. Figure this is somethin with a piston and not a quick fix. Thanks for your help!!

If the business end of your plug is bent..... You got mechanical problems, something bent that in! Not good

Yeh broke the buisness end, where the spark ignites. The piston has hit the spark plug no doubt. I need some answers what caused this. or some opinions.

I had one of my screws from my chock flap come out and go trough my motor smashed my plug !! Put a magnet in their and fished it out!! Scared the top the piston some but that was 800 hrs ago!!

I've had to replace 3 engines last month for the same problem. It was a piece of the muffler baffle that fell back into the cylinder. All three engines were manufactured on the same date at the Briggs factory so hopefully it's just a bad batch of mufflers. What is your Gt s/n ? I would like to see if it was around the same date.

No doubt if under warranty get to a dealer. If not then pull the head and inspect. Just cause you get what is in there out doesn't mean you don't have a bent valve or other damage.
