Thinking of building a small surface drive engine (2.5 - 6.5 hp) for my Pirogue. I plan on building based on my gd 35. Instead of a belt i'm thinking a chain though. Any suggestions on shaft size, prop size and fitting, and also more importantly bearing/bushing and sealing. Any info or plans would help alot.
