 Beavertail surface drives Just wondering why you don't hear more about them or see more of them? You wouldn't even know they existed if it weren't for advertisement

Re: Beavertail surface drives They are fairly new to the surface drive market. Took a look at one at cabela's last week, and they don't look that bad. They have a cast belt housing. Also a similar trim system to mud buddy. They offered the 40 kohler which was a flop.
Definitely not the same business as when Mark Fisher had it.

Re: Beavertail surface drives Beavertail copied mud buddy's design, then cut corners on it resulting in a cheap replica of crapier quality. However, they did this after mud buddy copied gator-tail's design, then cut corners on it resuling in a cheap replica of crapier quality.
So basicaly beavertail is the harbor frieght version of a surface drive.
