I took my muffler to the local exhuast shop and asked them to take out the baffles and move the outlet from the side to the center and then to cap off the sides. It looked good from the outside when I picked it up but after I got home I checked it out and this is what it looks like...the pic is looking down the outlet pipe into the muffler. It looks like they didn't even take the baffles out and the welding/cutting looks pretty damn bad to me. But I wanted to get a few more opinions before I go back down there on monday.

that thing looks like a robo colonoscopy. you may want to open it back up on one end and see what they did.

mud motor dealers always seem to have a fair number of stock mufflers just sitting around, if you want to try again.

Ya its a vertical generac. Couldn't find any after market exhausts for it which is why I had to go this route.

Man that does look like shit. My buddy did mine and all he did was cut the ends off with a bandsaw which took care of the baffles and moved the outlet to the back. He also put gussets on the 90's at the can because they cracked on the old one.

That looks like my hemorrhoids before I got them operated on.
