Hey Matt have you tried the patternmaster black cloud chokes at all? I have been using those with my sx3 and black cloud and it has worked out well for me.

I'm almost a believer of the black clouds with the BC kicks chokes after watching the robertsons bust ducks from what looks like miles away and folding them.

That's got nothing to do with shells and not much to do with choked even... Those guys can just shoot. They hunt all the time.

Plus anything on camera looks like it is 2-3x further than it actually is. So dont kid yourself into thinking they are dropping ducks at super long range. I went through several boxes of BC 3" 2s and noticed no difference between it and the UltraShoks I shoot.

See I figured so, and I know their ability to shoot has alot to do with it as well. Yes black clouds never impressed me, I do hear it's a night and day difference when combined with the choke made for them (kicks BC). Which makes since to me because of the way their wads/shot is made to perform.

This is the email I received from Remington when I asked about the Hypersonics being discontinued.

"Thank you for your email. We have not discontinued the Hypersonic ammo. It has been in very high demand and are doing our best to fill orders, but it will be in short supply this season."

Just reload the hulls for your choke you are going to use, AND PATTERN THE DAMN GUN. I have not shot factory ammo for years. there are recipes for rounds @1795 fps with a 1oz load. 1oz of steel is the pellet volume of 1 3/8 lead. Heavy shot loads are not needed 1 3/8 #4 lead was awesome on ducks, loved to shoot it when i still could. Now i have found #3 is what i shoot. The #3 patterns well for my guns. I have found though a lot of guns do not like to pattern loads above 1600fps the patterns are blowen but drop the speed down and it will pattern well.
