My buddy boat was stole from luling, la around 3:30 am last night. The boat was a Camo flat with 23 Gtr. Only around 12hrs on the motor. It was stolen on hwy 90 at his shop next to new Orleans daq's.

go talk to the managers at the daq shop i know they have cameras all over that building maybe they maybe caught something, no to many vehicles are going to be going through there that early in the morning.

Got the boat motor and trailer back! The trailer and boat was sunk. We pulled it out and recovered both... Had to take a ride across the lake to get the motor which is trashed!! I'll lost pics soon!! One Kat is in jail and 3 others will be going in with him!!

Goes to show what can happen if you get into meth, idiots. Did you have insurance? It's a must have in this day and age... Also, surely the boat trailer had a locking mechanism on it. I know a thief will go through anything when their mind is set to it, but maybe going that extra step of having a tongue lock and chain will help. I've said it more than once on here, for 3-500 bucks a year you can have a new boat in this situation.

Did the thiefs swap exhausts? WTF were they doing? Trying to disguise it? What a botched up job on their part.

they said the muffler cracked.. (which we all know they do) and they looked up on the internet for "specs" on mufflers and got the compresion numbers and built thoses!! LOL... Man, you have no idea of the thought runing through my head when we seen this JUNK!!!

BTW they where 18yr old kids.. and old enough to get full jail time!!

Mid Oct.. They sunk the boat right after they stole it.. They ran T.F. outta the motor untill last week.. We recovered the boat and trailer last night from the canal... A little water logged and needs a pressure washing but still ok.. The motor was recovered after we pulled the boat out about 75 miles north of where I live.. They got word we was looking and putting it all together and brought it (motor) to a stash house... But they used it all during 1st split.

x100 on insurance. I got mine through progressive. Only $304 for full replacement, even in case of negligence on my part. That's on a brand new boat too. So worth it for piece of mind.
