 Oil leak/fitting
Maybe someone can answer this. I have a leak at the return fitting located on the lower side of the oil filter flange. How in the world does this fitting come off? its worn out and loose as it is, but I can't unscrew it bc of the block...

 Re: Oil leak/fitting
may have to cut the 90 off and get one with a straight flange. Check to see if they make em first.

 Re: Oil leak/fitting
That piece that it is screwed into should unscrew just like the oil filter!

 Re: Oil leak/fitting
Simple fix. Remove the oil filter and then use a large wrench to unscrew the piece the oil filter screws into to take the flange off the block that the oil filter seats on. When the flange is off, remove both those 90 degree pieces and coat with sealant and reinstall tight with the 90's pointing in the right direction. Then put the flange back on the block (oil the o-ring between the block and flange before reinstalling).
