a facet 41078 is about the best i have found for this application. you can go with the round gold series but dont think its needed. The 40178 has 3ft of dry lift at 2-3 1/2 psi, check valve and anti siphon. right now pegasus auto racing has the best deal cause shipping is free. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group ... upID=FACET
I have mine mounted on the motor and since it has 3ft of dry lift it primes itself.

on my 16hp briggs the hot wire is ran to the carb soleniod wire "which was doing nothing anyway" and its grounded where it mounts on the motor. on my 9hp lifan i actually installed a briggs 5 prong switch and run it the same way.

Ok so the hot wire on the last pump that was on there was hooked up to the wire that ingauged the prop should I keep it there or should I put ti somewhere else because I always had to use my primer bulb to get the motor to start never could just turn the key and wait a sec and start it sorry if there to much I'm new to this

i honestly could not tell you as i have no experience with anything but LTs. but i would want the pump on and primed before i started. so if you are just sitting idle at the boat ramp warming the motor up the pump is not working? I would wire off something that is hot when the ignition is in the on position. Thats why i use the carb solenoid wire. you use your carb solienoid wire? b&s wire configs are all the same. it will be a white wire coming off the switch. try this diagram http://www.tulsaenginewarehouse.com/dra ... wiring.pdf this will help you find a hot wire.
